Goin to my happy place.

I can't stop staring at my feet! I went to the feet salon this morning. My toes were so sad before that I cannot share a before picture of this makeover. Mostly there is nothing cute about my feet. I am a size 11 and have been since the 8th grade. So they needed some special treatment. Bring on the cute sandals! Oh! I get them at Sole Obsession:)

Another thing that seriously makes me happy is reading and looking at Bride magazines. The local Seattle area ones are my favorite. I love the REAL WeDDINGS feature in Seattle Metropolitan Bride and Groom. My very favorite thing is wedding cake. I love all the stuff they are doing with cupcakes. And of course I love to eat it. And the pictures are so beautiful! My goal is to get theSNAPsisters featured here. I dream a little dream:)

I wanna be a blog star!

Today we met up with Kathi and kids and Tami at the neighbors pool. Cassie says she reads my blog and has never been on it. Well! I said we will make you a a blog star! Hana painted Cassie nails like watermelon, but really nobody got out of the pool much. It's just too hot! Hope you all find a way to keep cool.

WARNING! this post is a little dirty...

Ok it was real hot...this is the country way to cool off. It was so funny, Katie (shes the one looking for frogs) jumps off the raft in the middle of the pond thinking it was deep but she stood right up! LOL for sure. The neighbors gave it a go in the boat and Charlie went for a swim. I think I heard a kid say "this is feese" That is Dutch for gross and I have no idea how to spell it:)

Flowers make me happy! Hana is working just about everyday at Enfields Raspberry plant and bless her heart she loves it! We alternate taking her at 4:30 AM. This is not my cup of tea. I am more of a 9:00 cup of coffee person. On the drive to Enfields we pass a beautiful dahlia field. There is a stand out front and she sells the blooms 5 for a buck! Nothing is a buck anymore! You can afford to buy a bouquet for everyone you know. Its east of the Bob hall Rd on the Lynden Birch Bay Rd. Sorry about the poor quality pics... I will do better next time. Also below our deck the pond is growing and it looks like it has an island with a land bridge. COOL! I could do without all the dust though. That's life on the hill:)

Puppy Love!

I love puppies! The neighbor's Barb and Benson got a new Miniature Australian Shepherd. We arrived and the little guy was pooped out. Passed out on the lawn. We tried to get him to play but it was nap time.

This and That...

I found a really good recipe I must share. My family raved about it. I know I am breaking some blog rule somewhere but I did not feel like typing it out. Sorry. Click on the picture to enlarge it. I added rice, corn and cookies for dessert. Believe me I don't cook like this every night.
